The Clinical Research Laboratory was established in 2008, and its main purpose is to provide clinical tests that cannot be launched in ordinary laboratories for researchers and graduate students. Since 2015, the laboratory has been collaborating with the Endocrine and Metabolism Research Center (EMRC), the Physiology Research Center, and the Neuroinflammation Projects (traumatic brain injury (TBI)). The laboratory uses a professional biochemistry auto-analyzer apparatus, Selectra, provided by EMRC, to process all clinical diagnostic tests on human, animal, and cellular samples accurately. The laboratory is also equipped with ELISA, Bio-Rad electrophoresis, visible-uv spectrophotometer, and sonicator for homogenization of laboratory tissue samples. Blood cells and cellular samples can be counted using the NicoCard device and Hyman Kant apparatuses. The laboratory measures the concentration of protein, antibody, various antigens, and hormones in human and animal samples. The lab technician is Miss Elham Abbasloo, who holds a master's degree in physiology.
